Brands

Eight product brands we support, spanning Web & API Protection, Enterprise Networking, Hyperconverged Infrastructure & VMware Alternatives, and ERP Business Management.

Brand evaluation criteria

Selection is not about opening a catalog and picking the most expensive option, or pushing every brand onto the same customer.

After requirements interviews and a site survey, we narrow the candidates using the four criteria below. Usually one or two options remain for the customer to compare, with reasons given for anything excluded. A brand that fits Company A may not belong on Company B's shortlist at all.

1
Site and use case
A public-facing website, e-commerce site, or API has a completely different threat model from an ERP system or file server that only runs on the internal network, and the budget goes to different places. Office buildings, factories with dense production lines, and campuses also call for different network designs. We confirm the site conditions before moving into product evaluation.
2
Scale and available IT staff
Some platforms are feature-complete but assume a dedicated person watching them every day. Many companies in Taiwan have only one or two IT staff, who also handle internal support. In that case, one fewer system to learn is often worth more than one extra spec. Site count, device count, and available headcount all change the recommendation.
3
Compliance and data residency requirements
Financial institutions, healthcare, listed companies, and government agencies often have hard requirements such as data must not leave the country, logs must be retained and auditable, or backups must be tamper-proof. Some pure-cloud options are ruled out on this point alone. We clarify these requirements first, then decide whether cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment is workable.
4
Existing architecture and replacement pace
Few companies can replace everything at once. The existing firewall brand, switch generation, virtualization platform version, and ERP historical data all determine whether a new solution can be rolled out in phases. The key question is which part to replace first for the lowest risk and the fastest visible result. A proof of concept (POC, a small-scale test to confirm a solution works) is arranged before formal procurement.

Once the evaluation is complete, we present one recommended solution and one alternative, with deployment scope, timeline, and annual maintenance details for comparison. If the existing environment is still adequate, we say so. Details for each area are covered on the Web & API Protection, Enterprise Networking, Hyperconverged Infrastructure & VMware Alternatives, and ERP Business Management pages.

Brand list

Listed alphabetically below; this is not a ranking or recommended order. Each brand page lists the scope of work we actually take on.

Akamai

A protection service built on a global edge network. Once your domain points to Akamai, attack traffic is filtered out before it reaches your data center. Covers WAF, application-layer DDoS protection, bot management, and API discovery, with no extra hardware needed on site.

Arcfra

AECP is full-stack hyperconverged software that combines several standard x86 servers into a private cloud. Virtual machines, Kubernetes containers, and GPU inference run from the same console, and it can take over an existing VMware ESXi environment in phases.

F5®

An Application Delivery Controller (ADC) that sits in front of your systems to distribute traffic and run health checks; the same device can add a WAF module. Available as on-premises BIG-IP®, cloud, and NGINX® container form factors.

Fortinet

Firewalls, switches, wireless access points, SD-WAN, and web protection all sit within the Fortinet Security Fabric architecture. FortiGate can manage switches and access points directly, sharing one management interface and log reports. Suited to organizations with limited IT staff that still need to produce security audit evidence.

Hitachi JP1

An IT system for managing IT. Server monitoring, daily batch scheduling, alert notifications, and company-wide IT asset inventory, all in a single screen. Vendor-neutral and not tied to specific hardware. The current product line is the JP1/IM3 generation.

Partner
HPE Aruba Networking

A full campus networking package: switches, wireless access points, gateways, network access control (NAC, which decides which devices may connect to the company network), and cloud management. An on-premises deployment option is also available for the management platform.

Odoo

A modular business management system. The core is the open-source Community edition, with a paid Enterprise edition also available. CRM, quotations, purchasing, inventory, production, and accounting all sit in the same database. You can deploy one or two modules first to prove the concept, then expand company-wide.

Partner
VergeIO

VergeOS integrates virtualization, software-defined storage, virtual networking, and backup into a single operating system. It can run on your existing x86 servers and offers VMware virtual machine migration tools with a gradual adoption path.

Brands marked "Partner" are ones where GN-AI has an established partner relationship; every brand across the site is shown as plain text, with no vendor logos.

How products are sourced and what we deliver

We source vendor products and support through authorized channels in Taiwan, and provide planning, deployment, migration, training, and annual maintenance services.

Hitachi JP1 and Odoo are the only ones where GN-AI has a partner relationship. Whichever path a product is sourced through, the service delivered to customers is the same set:

  • Requirements interviews and architecture planning: site survey, architecture design, selection recommendations, proof of concept, and total cost of ownership (TCO) estimates.
  • On-site build and installation: rack mounting, cabling, equipment installation, configuration tuning, and cutover.
  • System migration: VMware virtual machine migration and data transfer for equipment replacement.
  • Training and knowledge transfer: operational training for IT staff, walkthroughs of the management interface, and documentation handover.
  • Annual maintenance contracts: business-hours support, troubleshooting, periodic health checks, and help with vendor contract renewal.

Licensing terms, support tiers, and product lifecycles (EOL/EOS) are set by the vendor and change with vendor policy. At the proposal stage we explain the currently available support period and version recommendations, so you don't end up buying a version close to end of support. Full delivery details are on the Services page; company locations and team background are on the About page.
